Modern European Philosophy II
A survey of European philosophy from the late 18th though the 19th centuries. Philosophers studied may include, but are not
limited to, Kant, Hegel, Feuerbach, Schopenhauer, Marx, Bentham, Wollstonecraft, Mill, Martineau, Fuller, Kierkegaard,
Nietzsche, and Cobbe. The Enlightenment, the Romantic Movement, idealism, positivism, utilitarianism, traditionalism
and liberalism will be possible topics of discussion.
Prerequisites: Registration status: senior student.
